Starting very young, piano was the first instrument Jonathan learnt whilst learning music theory at the same time. Focusing on classical piano, he feels confident in teaching this instrument to a high level with numerous years of experience. He as taken many pupils through ABRSM grades and also prepared them for School and College Music Exams.
Starting lessons young, Jonathan is a very competent guitarist who focuses on playing classical guitar. In addition he also plays acoustic and electric in many different genres. As a result he is able to teach numerous levels and styles. He has taken pupils through the Trinity Classical Guitar Grades but is also competent in preparing students for other style of guitar exams and also School and College Music Exams.
Theory, Composing and other Lessons
In addition Jonathan can also help in the teaching of music theory and composition. From learning multiple instruments and also his university courses he is able teach music theory to a high level. While teaching Guitar and Piano he also teaches theory alongside it within the lessons. In addition, due to his focus on composition at University he is also able to teach music composition.

Lesson details and prices
Lessons normally last half an hour depending on the standard of student. As the student gets older or improves lessons can upped to 45 minutes or an hour. In terms of prices, half an hour is £16, 45 minutes is £24 and an hour is £32. These prices apply for both in person and online lessons.
